In recognition of persons with deafblindness and on the occasion of World Day of persons with deafblindness , Hope City Foundation is celebrating this occasion with an awareness campaign with the slogan (UNITR FOR THEM).

This campaign aims to raise public awareness about deafblindness, and the needs of persons who have combined hearing and vision loss, the obstacles they face, and their need of the unity and cooperation of a multidisciplinary team, families, health and educational institutions, and the community for them, to improve their quality of life. This campaign includes the following:

1. Raising awareness of families and specialists about the needs of persons with deafblindness and others with multiple disabilities.

2. Raising awareness of the importance of uniting a multidisciplinary team with families to meet the needs of persons with deafblindness.

3. Raising awareness of the importance of cooperation between all governmental, non-governmental institutions and centers to improve the quality of life of persons with deafblindness.

4. Raising awareness of the importance of providing the opportunity for persons with deafblindness to express themselves and identifying the obstacles they face.

5. Presenting examples and inspiring stories about persons with deafblindness.
