Our Services

Hope City Foundation provides comprehensive educational services to children and youth with deafblindness, visual impairment, hearing impairment with or without additional disabilities from the birth to 22 years old. Every child has individual Educational program. Our Program offers several curriculum options using Hope City Integrated Approach and Montessori Method frameworks including practical life, sensory life, language, Math, science, social studies and art. We have four classes as follows:

Early Intervention

For babies from birth to four years old. We invite parents to attend with their baby to learn all about the child and teach them how to communicate with their baby. In this stage we help our children to explore and discover through social play. In addition, we focus on social interaction and play, sensory development, self-help, language and communication, Physical and Motor Skills.

Preschool

For children ages four through eight. We focus on behavior management, self-care skills such as toileting, eating, washing and dressing, sensory integration, motor skills, cognitive skills, early language and communication.

Early Academic

For children ages from six to twelve. We focus on development of social and behavior skills, independent living skills, communication and language, cognitive skills, early academic skills, physical education, religion, music, art, play skills.

Vocational

For young youth from twelve through twenty two. We incorporate expanded core curriculum areas in our program to encourage our students to be independent, prepare them to find a job and become productive members in the community. We focus on functional academic skills, daily living skills, language and communication, food preparation, Manufacture of accessories and hand- made carpets, packing, housekeeping, shopping, arts and crafts, orientation and mobility, music.

School model system

School model system (Full day):

educational services are offered through individual and group sessions. It has been created as a school model to prepare the learners to easily move into regular classes and to get used to the daily school system.

Individual sessions

Speech communication, development of developmental abilities and skills, development of academic abilities, occupational therapy, development of the senses, sensory integration, auditory rehabilitation, visual rehabilitation, orientation and movement, teaching Braille, assistive technology, augmentative and alternative communication, teaching visual and tactile sign language, art education, education Movement, music education, vocational training, behavior management.

Assessment department

It provides evaluation services in several areas, including:
Evaluation of mental abilities includes intelligence tests, developmental evaluation, communication and language evaluation, academic evaluation, sensory evaluation, behavioral evaluation, functional evaluation of hearing, functional evaluation of vision, autism spectrum disorder evaluations, evaluations of deafness with blindness (audiovisual disability), evaluations of multiple disabilities. , Intellectual Disabilities Evaluations, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder Evaluations, Learning Difficulties Evaluations.

Training and Consulting Department

This department offers training courses and diplomas to increase professional competence and prepare cadres for the following categories:
 Specialists in the fields of special education, speech, psychology, health, technology, and entrepreneurship.
