Education of learners with deafblindness and multiple disabilities at Hope City Foundation, Egypt
Hope City Foundation for Development and Training is an institution affiliated with the Ministry of Social Solidarity.
It was established in Giza on March 2014 with registration number 5272.
Then the institution’s headquarters was moved to Cairo with registration number 10304 for the year 2016.
The organization was founded by Dr. Amal Ezzat – who has more than 25 years of experience in psychology, special education and speech, and the rehabilitation and education of deaf-blind children and people with multiple disabilities.
Dr. Amal Ezzat graduated from the Department of Psychology, Faculty of Arts, Ain Shams University, and obtained a master’s degree and a doctorate degree in psychology from the same college.

Achieving quality of life, independence, inclusion and social participation for persons with deafblindness, visual impairment or hearing impairment with or without additional disabilities and those with multiple disabilities..
OUR VISION!
Enable persons with deafblindness, visual impairment or hearing impairment with or without additional disabilities and those with multiple disabilities to obtain their right in appropriate education and to provide them with quality educational and rehabilitation services to achieve independence, employment, production and participation effectively in the development of society.
